My guess would be a 1986+ The 1979-85 base models had the rounded headlights and the 1979-85 upper models had the stacked headlights, 1986 was the first year of the single rectangular headlights |

Long since last post, but I just watched this fabulous piece of movie history and simply can't help being an car enthusiast and...is it a straight six in that van?? I thought so when hearing it start. Naturally all sounds are made and mixed in to fit the movie. But maybe authentic enough.. Thoughts? |

It does sound like a slant six when the van is taking off from Kevin's house at night when Kevin is having that fake party, the song playing Rocking around the Christmas tree is ending. After Harry says we'd better get out of here before someone sees us. |
