According to the Ohio Museum of Transportation this bus was delivered to the New York City Omnibus Corp in December 1949 in a batch of 50 busses of this type. Bus No.2930 therefore has the Serial-No. 0672. Other details: Transit / 6-71 Diesel Engine / Hydraulic Transmission / 45 passenger / Model 09 / Length = 35 foot / Width = 96 inch .... Yes, the internet is a fine thing to obtain all sorts of information.

The exterior was completely refurbished for the shoot at the production company's expense. Regards, Mr. 'L'
