This is a Prince Skyline ALSI-2 from around 1958-59. Prince was a Japanese marque that disappeared when it was absorbed by Nissan in the 1960s. Nissan then took on the Skyline model name themselves and cars bearing the name Nissan Skyline are still made to this day. |

Thank you! This one has kept me busy for days searching among chinese cars but none of them has been close enough. Best offer was Shanghai SH 760 but it wasn´t right. |

it is actually a BLSIS-3 the facelift version of the ALSI-2 series These were available April 1962? to September 1962?. With that grill and lack of chrome on the body it is a standard non-deluxe model (Deluxe model code BLSID-3) |

This (like everything else in the film) is in Hong Kong, so I'm afraid you wasted your time looking up cars made in the PRC. |

The car in the last pic is a different car (its a Deluxe version with the foglights in the bumper) from the other 6 pics. Maybe the taxi company must have run a fleet of Prince Skylines both Deluxe and Standard models. -- Last edit: 2007-08-12 19:25:51 (antp) |
