I believe the mirrors indicate the newest models. Also looks like the hood is slightly rounded in the front. So I'm pretty sure it's '92 or newer. |

There were a few of these built for the movie. I believe this main one is really an 87-91 made to look newer with the grille guard and stuff disguising the nose, etc. while having updated mirrors, tailgate trim and other things. This one has the older 87-91 bumper, the one for in-vehicle shots didn't have the 92 dash either. This one has no RH fender emblem, but another one being driven in a shot had a 92 and up Bronco LH fender emblem... The truck shown flipping over in the stunt and tipped over up close outside while being pushed by the semi does have a 1992 and up XL style grille and headlights, and much smaller tires. These Broncos also popped up in several other films too -- Last edit: 2022-10-19 00:42:50 |

Yes the main is a 1987-91. Notice how far down the hood curves above the headlights, 1992-96's barely had it. The hood is also much squarer than on later Broncos. This also applies to the Problem Child Bronco where you can see the grill and headlights better. Re-list as 1987. |
