Why do we have some of these as VELAM and others as Velam? Just looked at our selection and they're almost all white - was it the only colour? |

I think indeed that the VELAM was only available in white, hence its nickname 'Pot de yaourt'. Since VELAM is an abbreviation of VEhicule Léger A Moteur (light vehicle with an engine) and since they themselves only used capitals on their cars and in their ads, I'd say it rather should be VELAM, not Velam. |

In German the nickname "Joghurtbecher" is common, too but for annother type of vehicles: for motorbikes with plastic- or glassfibre casings. |
