This is a nice car...Fuego's were big in Europe and South america in the 80s...super aerodynamically efficient and fast... |

Never seen one of these before. Does the front remind you of a Citroen CX? EDIT: Sorry a Citroen BX. -- Last edit: 2007-09-08 19:28:38 |

It's been said, that it looked better in pictures than in the real life. |

1983? Wasn't face lifted in the same time with R18 - 1984? |

According to Wikipedia, yes the Fuego was facelifted in 1984, so should this be 1984? |

I confirm it's a Fuego Turbo 1984. They shoud have closed the bonnet properly. |

You shouldn't have edited the original comment....Robert Opron was the designer of the both the Citroen CX and the Renault Fuego. The BX was the work of Marcello Gandini. I remember these new here in the States, and I still think it is one of the most beautiful cars ever. The look is absolutely timeless. Wish I had the opportunity to drive one at some point, but my bucket list is already too long to possibly complete. |

1976 plate. French issues are often newer than the car as new numbers get reissued when car is sold on, but very rarely can be older than the car in circumstances I don't understand. Unless they're all fakes for the screen. |
