"[Pontiac's contracted ad agency chief] Wangers also ordered two base-engined, automatic-transmissioned 1966 GTO convertibles that would be converted into Monkeemobiles" http://www.monkees.net/DOCS/MMOBILE.HTM The article also says the supercharger is false. -- Last edit: 2008-03-06 10:25:57 |

I sold a Dean Jeffries article on ebay March 13 or this year to somebody out around Vegas. It was an article about James Bond Moon Vehicle from a 1972 Hi Performance Cars magazine issue. The guy was going to have it framed for him. I hope he got it before he died circa May 7. Only lived less than two months after I sold it. Only sold for $5 with free shipping. The guy that bought the article said he was doing fine. -- Last edit: 2013-07-31 19:11:39 |

Johnny Lightning made a more recent diecast version of this car within the last 10 years or so. Did a good job. |

Amazing how many models of this car have been made over the years... and not all of them are red for some reason! Link to "www.hobbydb.com" |

One was used for the show and one with slotted wheels went on the show circuit. They looked slightly different. |

Dean Jefferies also designed trolley cars for Disney's 1988 movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit. |

I had thought this was customised by George Barris but I'm willing to be corrected. Apparently Pontiac were not happy with the customisation because it made it hard to tell which model the car actually was. |
