The plate number may not be fake, but the plate is a plastic from Earl Hays Press in North Hollywood, which for years made fake plates for Hollywood. |

"ABM" is a dead letter combination on CA plates. So it's a fake plate on this NSX. But it looks very good for a fake plate. |

Yes, "ABM" isn't used on California license plates. Two others I've seen are 2ABM487 (/vehicle_14445-Volkswagen-Sedan-Typ-1-1970.html) and 2ABM543 (/vehicle.php?id=215796 and /vehicle_144019-Nissan-Rogue-2008.html). The website http://www.calpl8s.com had a good list of unused letter combinations, but it doesn't seem to be up anymore. That's the list I went by. However, you can still use the Internet Archive to view it. |
