Could this be Indonesia sourced? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isuzu_Trooper#First_generation_(1981%E2%80%931991) |

1993+ High Roof model, 2.3L petrol-powered (don't know the chassis code). Locally-built. update: [UBS16]. chassis codes for Trooper sold here: UBS53 for C223 2.3L diesel (1984-1992) UBS16 for 4ZD1 2.3L gasoline (1993-1998) -- Last edit: 2022-12-09 06:13:27 |

@rjluna2 - I think so, Wikipedia says "In Indonesia, where it was locally assembled by Garmak Motors, it was sold as the Chevrolet Trooper". Offered in LD, LS and LT trims, Made for RI by the branding. Rectangular headlights came in 1987. False info for the model and year, how the hell you can get that info? Do not refer the engine options when anyone else here hasn't started researching the Indonesian-spec models properly, as well no other vantages to list the motor. |

reading original brochures, reading information provided by knowledgeable Trooper pro. -- Last edit: 2022-12-09 13:21:35 |

Nope, sorry, much of that info you've mentioned above were all false, Wikipedia info is already correct... - There's NO much taller high roof versions offered on the Isuzu Trooper and all of its siblings (don't think the Ssangyong Korando Family ever had that option). - There's NO 1992-1998 MYs for the first gen Troopers, those MYs were reserved ONLY for India (as the Isuzu Trooper) and South Korea (as the Ssangyong Korando Family). Per Wikipedia, this generation was replaced in many markets in 1991. - This is NOT a 2.3 [UBS16] without checking the plate. We NEED a plate to prove that, this vehicle is registered in Semarang, and turns out we can't check those plates of that region without a frame number inserted. 1987 [UBS] suffices. Wikipedia is already complex, where they've collected many proper and cited source links there for our better acknowledgement, we're normally follow from there. |

your points can simply be checked by researching the proper literature. There's no 1998 model? go search for one for sale and you'll find one. gasoline or diesel choices? look for original brochures. no high-roof model? go look at the differences between regular roof and this roof. and indo-spec trooper was only ever sold with one trim level, LS, and that's for the facelift with square headlamps. go look for LD or LT trims for sale, you can't even find one. but you seems can't be convinced, so i see no reason to continue this argument. -- Last edit: 2023-02-15 15:17:38 |

What the? As said before, Wikipedia is already complex and enough. Again, all of your informations will be rejected and moot pointed. Full stop (not sure if @Exiv96 has ever saw this). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isuzu_Trooper |
