About the title: Not rebodied, some of these cars perhaps used a temporarily installed 750-engines so they could be entered in 3-litre races. "857 S" was a 750 Monza equipped with a 3,5-litre stroker engine. When the same 3,5-litre unit was installed into a works 290 Mille Miglia, the car would be called 860 Monza. Short lived cars as the development would favor the big V12s (290MM-315S-335S). |
