 1995-1996 SW London plate, no DVLA entry

this may have been a real Met car at some point

spec'd the same as this real in service unit (Link to "www.emergency-vehicles.co.uk"), may have been part of the same batch and would have been retired by early 1997 (around time this episode was filmed) so it could fit

The Bill uses cars that Met normal do at the time so you are correct, this was used in series 13 in 1995, however I can't pinpoint when it was excaualty used as episodes for that series are hard to find and Verctra also appeared in thie series to replace them, /vehicle_1431381-Vauxhall-Vectra-1996.html until the mid 2000s.

 I don't think it's a real police car, we have other N5xxNGH Mondeos already, so most likely a fleet batch used by film/TV:

Many newish Fords used on TV in the late 90s were registered in London, guessing there was a dealership that did a lot of film/TV contracts.
