I guess the Vauxhall Victor FE so Victor Estate (by the firtree air freshener appearing in both?. edit: A wrong assumption since those air fresheners are completely different - so I don't know.

After time to reconsider, yes it is likely to be the Victor FD again. The seats and interior trim match and the rear door plus D pillar look to be the Victor Estate's design. Somebody swapped the firtree for another air-freshener!

Listings combined FD Victor listed as most likely rather than VX1800/VX2300.

I'm convinced. 1977 VX 1800 Estate automatic, sandalwood gold with beige upholstery, RPG 83R. Door mirror looks a strong clue - earlier Victor FEs seem to have wing mirrors.

It's only similar but actually not RPG 83R, the instruments and fascia are different, it maybe possible to find the model year range.

The Instruments and fascia are from February 1972 so definitely Victor FE and not the later VX Series.

[Image: victorfespeedo.jpg] [Image: victor2300sl.jpg]
The earlier Victor FE instruments had a silver centre disc and the fascia as in the 'Mangrove' story episode 1.01 was from a Victor 2300 SL the 1800 Deluxe being an all black fascia.

With the VX series they were all black dials.

Looking at the D pillar, the colour is possibly Sunspot and mirrors are easily changed, the Victor Estate would have a single off-side wing mirror as standard, others being optional on both saloon (2) and estate (1). The company I worked for had a Victor FE 2300 saloon in the same colour.
