Rear arch/wing smells Spridget, so names like Ashley or Lenham can be tossed around. But door is too close to rear arch and quarterlight is wrong shape for easy adaptation from Spridget, so I'd look elsewhere. Although no idea in which direction yet. |

How about Heron Europa? Some had quarter glass, some didn't.. |

Funny you should say that - I've been chasing pictures of the Diva GT, which in first version was pretty much a Heron Europa clone. I've got a book picture of early Diva which looks a good candidate, but from different angle and has no quarterlight. It does look right for the door and the door handle (which is Rootes push-button - Hillman Husky, Commer PB and Lotus Elite). And then got distracted by the Heron Europa being adopted for the Swiss-made MBM, which was Peter Monteverdi's first production venture ..... |

Ho hum. My book photo has 71 ELA plate and is definite that it's a Diva. But 71 ELA seems to be a Europa and fairly definitely here - it's the same car across all pics .... So I'll settle for Heron Europa. |
