That rear spoiler with looks reminiscent of the 1990-93 version. Nothing like that was stock for the 1986-89 version. Toyota subcontracted the convertible production to ASC, and they used a trunk mounted CHMSL. I believe they also used only cars shipped from the factory with alloy wheels, but don't hold me to that. The roof line looks off as well. I think this may have been a converted base coupe by someone other than Toyota/ASC, and it could be any year between 1986 and 1989. |

thanks Toyota decided that , like for the Paseo, Canada wasn't hot/sunny enough to deserve convertibles.. |
