Don't you think Annie's mom could smell the pot in her car later? If I had tried smoking anything in my parent's car when in high school they would have noticed in a second! But, maybe Annie's mom was a pot-head herself, and that's where Annie got her stash. ;)

Nice old Monte Carlo...never really been a Monte Carlo fan myself but this one's pretty cool. I like the color too. Wonder who's car this was...someone on the film crew, or a producer's? Wonder if it still exists? Probably not. :/

Fun fact: Annie's dad was originally supposed to be played by Tommy Chong (seriously not kidding; check the trivia on Chong's IMDB page). Pretty ironic considering she was worried about him smelling the pot.

Sorry this response is a year later, but better late than never. ;) I had not heard before that Chong was considered for Annie’s dad. :p That would have been “too much” and made the movie ridiculous. I’m glad they did what they did!

Most definitely, . Charles Cyphers did a good job; honestly I'm surprised he wasn't the first choice, seeing as how he is in basically every other movie John Carpenter made.
