Just a suggestion, but maybe we could start putting that "3500 HD" as part of the name ? We have so far 1109 "Silverado" on the site, and that's a lot. Plus we're already doing that for the previous model, the C/K series, with 1500, 2500, 3500 & HD versions identified as such in the model name. |

wouldn't be against the idea but then we might need to do it for Dodge Ram too |

Just Silverado HD/Sierra HD would probably be good for trucks that the specific weight class can't be determined, like F-Series Super Duty is used for Ford. Dodge Ram's could be listed as Dodge Ram Heavy Duty. -- Last edit: 2019-04-12 04:54:43 |

Seems that the script uses white space between 3500 and HD since 2007 ![]() commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Chevrolet_Silverado_3500_HD_Dual_2012_(10969172855).jpg |

There's a space on the badges, however, the Chevrolet website lists it as 2500HD and 3500HD without a space. https://www.chevrolet.com/trucks/silverado-2500hd-3500hd-heavy-duty-trucks |

I agree on the HD being part of the name to differciate the models. HD isn't a trim level. I have been listing without a space between the badges ![]() |
