Humber. Pullman or Imperial? |

Humber Super Snipe (Mark III?). |

cl82 has got it - early Super Snipe Mk2 with Sept 48 to Sept 49 four lights; replaced by small rectangular lights for 2nd year of Mk2 and then subsequent Super Snipes. I don't think any Pullmans or Imperials had this 4-round light format. |

I would therefore suggest that the thumb is not the same car. |

Correction: all big Humbers had this 4-round light format for Sept 48 to Sept 49 only. So likely the same Pullman Mk2; Imperial was introduced Sept 49 so should only exist with later lights. |

My original suggestion was made on the size and shape of the third window and the apparent length of the passenger compartment. -- Last edit: 2018-10-16 23:10:48 |

It was a good call. I was struggling with competing book descriptions which seemed to exclude Pullman until I dug deeper. But that pinned down the previously floating lights issue to usefully clarify several other entries. So a happy outcome. |

Thanks, you two. To be honest, I didn't pay any attention to the thumb. |
