@baube I inadvertently bought a 2000 Hyundai brochure off Ebay and it is a Canadian one not US! I was wondering why there were two trim levels for the Tiburon and Elantra.... because in the US we only had 1 trim for each other those models for 2000. The main here is an SE based off the wheels. Here is a base model, confirmed by the VIN exported to Russia: /vehicle_1188728-Hyundai-Tiburon-RD2-2000.html Here is an SE: /vehicle_1223468-Hyundai-Tiburon-RD2-2000.html Note the spoiler differences. Elantra: GL & VE Tiburon: Base & SE Very little detail online but according to the brochure I have the differences for the Tiburon were minimal but noticeable. The spoiler was massive on the SE compared to the Base. Yes, the brochure calls the trim Base. The alloys were 7 spokes on the SE while they were 5 spoke on the Base. Elantra seems to be mainly mechanical differences between the trims for 2000. Cruise control was not offered on the GL, manual tranny was standard on the GL (VE only had auto), & door locks/windows/mirrors were manual vs power on the VE. Shoot while we are at it.
