![]() ![]() A 1989 Vietnam war movie made by filmmaker and actual Vietnam veteran Patrick Sheane Duncan! Seen entirely through the perspective of a film camera carried by one of the soldiers, 84 Charlie MoPic has the distinction of being the first true found footage movie, predating The Blair Witch Project by ten years. Yes, Cannibal Holocaust came before this and is considered the first film in this genre, but that movie's use of found footage has characters in the film watching the footage rather then the entire film being seen through the perspective of a camera. This movie also goes by 84C MoPic, 84 CHARLIE MOPIC, and, in the Philippines, Platoon 2. Though seeing as this movie has only two background Jeeps, one behind somebody and the other far away, I'm not gonna be surprised if this listing isn't approved. ![]() -- Last edit: 2023-03-18 07:03:38 (night cub) |

Exactly - sorry but none of these two entries are really worth adding I think. |
