Nothing on imdb and very little info anywhere else, apart from http://explore.bfi.org.uk/4ce2b6f460066 and http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/C4303332 - not even a youtube posting. Featured in full length (26 minutes) on this 2007 compilation DVD "On The Beat - The British Policeman 1900-1984", which in turn was reissued by Atlas Editions a couple of years ago as a free gift for subscribers to their "Best of British Police Cars" partwork mail order series of Vanguards-based 1:43 diecasts. Unusually blunt and gloomy report on how difficult policing in Liverpool was in 73, mirroring the city's wider context of poverty, deprivation, high crime, and emerging racial tension. Even the police station looks semi-derelict An interesting companion to Tomorrow's Merseysiders and a signpost for how things exploded a few years later in the 1981 Toxteth riots. |

Says its a film about the Liverpool police,but no longer called the Liverpool police force,merged with the Bootle police in 1967 and called the Liverpool and Bootle Constabulary between 1967-1974,then Merseyside police |
