There was a scene where Squizzy walked across a bridge over the railway line to meet Henry Stokes.

Travelling on the railway line as Squizzy walking over the bridge was a train being hauled by a Victorian Railways K-Class steam locomotive, No. 190.

At the time of filming, K190 was owned by VicTrack and operated by Steamrail Victoria and was used on suburban shuttles and on day tours to Geelong and similar-length trips in which it was painted in a livery consisting of two-tone shades of green for the wheels and the main body, gold for the lettering and lining, black for the smokebox and red for the front and rear buffer beams.

In 1992, the locomotive was then resprayed to black.

From 1995 to 2000, K190 was loaned out to the South Gippsland railway in which it was resprayed back to the green livery, using apple green on the boiler, cab, tender and cylinders with dark green linings, red on the buffer beams on both ends, and matt black on the frames and the wheels.

After being returned to Steamrail Victoria, the locomotive was resprayed to gloss black.

In 2016, the locomotive was restored back to service with the locomotive being resprayed in the livery of former London Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS) locomotives, consisting of black, crimson, red and yellow.
