Feeling incredibly dejected, he vacations to his wealthy uncle's ranch, said wealthy uncle perhaps-not-so-coincidentally is played by Buddy Ebsen, best known as Jedd Clampett on The Beverly Hillbillies. While there, Paul meets and begins to fall in love with a horse trainer named Marnie. He begins to fall in love with her but resists, fearing his paralysis has rendered him unable to "rise to the occasion", so to speak. Starring John Ritter, Carrie Fisher, Buddy Ebsen, Ed Nelson, Carmen Zapata, Robert Urich, and Barbara Stuart! Airdate: May 14th, 1978 |
