Andy Griffith's first major role after The Andy Griffith Show went off the air and two subsequent attempts by Griffith at creating other shows both failed. The success of this film resulted in Griffith starring in a string of '70s TV movies which in turn ultimately landed him the title role on Matlock. Airdate: November 14th, 1972 |
