With the open rear wheel spats, it can be narrowed down further as a 1952-54 Series IIa S-T 90 DHC. It's not the successor Sunbeam Mk.III DHC as that had different front side grilles, and not a Sunbeam Alpine Mk.1 which was a 2-seater with smooth boot. The RBS 787 plate comes from a series which was never issued in period, so is either a modern age-related re-issue by DVLA or a complete fake - my guess is a fake as no trace found anywhere. |
