dsl ◊ 2017-06-18 18:49	9 minute motorbike road safety film. Everything upgraded from DVD copy found on COI Collection Volume Six: Worth the Risk?. Can be seen here. All pics replaced on like-for-like basis, a few new entries, additional comments pics, timings added etc. One of those films packed with stuff in backgrounds and little glimpses, but I think all main stuff now captured. Lots of the usual suspects in UK road footage of the time; maybe the hordes of Ford 100E deserved a page, but no single example stood out enough. Rejects - Commer PB - transporter with lots of Rootes-jewels - possibly Sceptre bodies en route from Thrupp & Maberley to Ryton (reference, another and yet again).
dsl ◊ 2017-06-19 13:31	As a postscript comment on this film, it's very noticeable how there are almost no road markings on anything except main roads, and even those don't get much apart from a central white line. Junctions are completely blank with no indication of priority and everyone just does their own thing - some folk stop, others (such as the AC Invacar!!) just barge through. Happy days??
