 Quelques mots but not in French as I write mistakes, so I try to avoid it...
It's just a very mild-mannered, very old-fashioned little film, nothing remarkable. The views of rural England were nice.
You hope for a forgotten gem, but usually they're forgotten for a reason.

There are many reasons for movies to be forgotten but you're right: by far, the main is that they are forgettable.

(Anyway, I'm a bit disappointed to learn that for this one.)
