DidierF ◊ 2014-10-06 17:58	Je craignais le pire et pourtant, non… d'Anthony Pelissier, avec Leo Genn en professeur victime de la calomnie (voyez ces petites propagatrices du pire) et nanti d'une femme un peu névrosée qui passe par tous les états (la toujours belle Gene Tierney), est un film bien construit, bien joué et bien photographié. La cause innocente des malheurs est Glynis Johns (qui a 30 ans lorsque elle joue la teenager), la femme folle qui souffle sur les braises est la terrible Pamela Brown, … et les parents qui sont frappés sont les formidables Walter Fitzgerald et Megs Jenkins : Allez, ça ne se termine pas trop mal. Mais ça vaut d'être vu, je pense. Rather good drama set in a little English town —on location in Bedford, otherwise at Pinewood studios— and perfectly acted by very good British actors plus Gene Tierney.
