Crime story made film noir, a bit clumsy, a tad talkative, but very pleasant all in all. Is it me or has this film fallen into oblivion? Un film noir de facture assez hétéroclite, mais tout à fait plaisant à suivre. Sterling Hayden est très beau mais assez maladroit dans son jeu — et son rôle n'est pas très bien écrit — et c'est finalement, plus encore que Dorothy Lamour, Dan Duryea qui ramasse la mise.
