Many scenes were filmed in an old department store in my hometown. When they filmed there in 2004 it was closed for about a year because they moved in a new building and renamed the shop (and then closed in 2018...). By final credits the owner was then still the same, but now it has changed. The really nice and quite old building is now one of many 'store cadavers' in that town, I really hate that behavior in east Germany. The scenes outside and with cars are all filmed somewhere else, so in this context there are some goofs.
