Tom Conway is a cool and pleasant lead as Steve Barnes, atorney at law and running for district attorney, Martha O'Driscoll (his girl) and June Clayworth (his scretary and secretely involved in the plot) are rather enjoyable (the former sings two numbers, and sings well). Some pleasant "court stuff" in it.

Robert Wise 5th movie directed.

B-movie, court drama with (very light) noir touches. Tom Conway is a cool and pleasant lead as Steve Barnes, atorney at law and running for district attorney, Martha O'Driscoll (his girl) and June Clayworth (his scretary and secretely involved in the plot)

are rather enjoyable (the former sings two numbers, and sings well).

Some pleasant "court stuff" in it.
