I agree, Gershwin's music is perfect in 'Manhattan'. The soundtrack usually adds a lot in Woody Allen movies. Before that he tried no music (Annie Hall has zero) which was only because Ingmar Bergman never used music. ![]() 'Rhapsody in Blue' is played completely here. The biography part is not so reliable... the Joan Leslie role is a complete fabrication. |
