I wonder if the creator of "Dark" was toying with the idea of calling it "The Dark" and vice versa. I think about this same thing with my own story. |

S1 - 6 eps completed. According to the blurb it's set in Scottish Highlands, but it isn't. Fairly hilly but not mountains - some filming known in Greenock and Inverclyde, and my guess would be extending into North Ayrshire. Disappointing series - overloaded with incoherent plot lines, many of which are left incomplete to dribble away unresolved. Central plot is not believable and the final reveal has too many hanging questions, main characters are robotic and overburdened with traumatic back-stories. Some OK scenery and use of locations but everything's grey and dreary. Apparently based on a series of novels, and the ending has a hook for a second series of more tedium.
