NOW IT CAN BE TOLD recreates the top secret missions of British Special Operations Executive (SOE) agents behind enemy lines during the Second World War. What makes the film so unusual and compelling is that the 'stars' of the film are the real life secret agents themselves, replaying their wartime roles in front of the cameras. Captain Harry Rée and Jacqueline Nearne faithfully recreate their wartime missions as agents 'Felix' and 'Cat'.

Filmed in 1944 some training scenes were later added for cinema release after the war.

 The last thumb looks to be an Ivatt class C1 4-4-2 originally of the Great Northern Railway, by WW2 part of the London and North Eastern Railway Company, and nothing to do with the picture above it.
