![]() ![]() ![]() 1920 silent comedy biopic about George Herman "Babe" Ruth. After adding two biopics about the man, here's one that stars the Babe himself! In this fictionalized version of himself, he carves his own bat from a piece of wood and is from a small country town where he was raised by loving parents. Actually, Ruth was born and raised in Baltimore and spent most of his youth in a reform school, St. Mary’s Industrial School for Boys, and there are no credible reports that Ruth was ever a woodworker. This is intentional as the movie is, as stated, a comedy. |
