The film did feature the elements from the Chicago Fire: . The firehouse where the Chicago Fire Department Arson Investigation Division is based at is Firehouse 51. . The number on one of the fire battalion chief's cars is the same as Chief Boden's (now Chief Pascal) vehicle, number 25. That and the two fire trucks in the film, Truck 17 and Engine 46 are real vehicles in the Chicago Fire Department, the firehouse where the vehicles are based at is located in the 6th District on Chicago's East Side with vehicles Battalion 23 and Ambulance 9. The current vehicles that the CFD have issued for Truck 17 and Engine 46 are a 2002 Pierce Dash with 100' rear-mount aerial (Truck 17) and 2002 Spartan Gladiator with the Luverne 500-gallon water tank and a 1500 GPM pump (Engine 46). -- Last edit: 2026-03-28 18:36:13 |
