This isn't relevant other than it being an 80s song but I've been listening to this this morning http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVvb3MS57yk -- Last edit: 2011-12-24 18:55:23 |

Bacon's bike is a 1984/5 Raleigh USA Competition that's been converted to a singlespeed (masquerading as a fixie), while Nelson Vails machine in the opening is a 1984/5 Raleigh USA Grand Prix; two notches down in the lineup from the Competition. One of the messengers in the opening has an '84/5 Super Course as well; the model that sits between the Competition and Grand Prix in the lineup. All three were Japanese or Taiwanese made for the U.S. market only. Fishburne's rig is a Grand Prix as well, but with a green paint job over everything but the lugs. It morphs into a Raleigh USA mountainbike with drop bars in a couple of shots ![]() ![]() Everything you ever wanted to know about the bikes can be found in this thread - work your way to page #2: Link to "www.bikeforums.net" -Kurt -- Last edit: 2019-12-19 18:43:08 |
