 It could be good wartime story about forbidden (German-Jewish) love.

Sadly spoiled by a screenplay, simply insulting to viewers' intelligence.

One example - the German general with his elegant wife visited the son, the soldier-spy staying on secret 'farm' on occupied East Poland, in the middle of forest. Yes, the farm in a forest...
He arrived with full glory of Hugo Boss uniform and (as said) in the car with chauffeaur.
That's pretty smart idea to invite such guests if you want preserve your hideout when you're pretending to look like local pleasants & tracking Polish partisans.

Of course, these spies were all men, with horses & leather jackets.
They're just invisible on Polish countryside.

There's even the group of anti-Soviet partisans lived on Russian forest.
They're expecting unexpected German enemy invasion June 1941.
