WYH 65 = April 59 to July 60 "allocated in blocks", London. So likely to be very late with this front before Oct 59 facelift. "Is it definitely a van and not a saloon or Escort estate?" I hear you all ask. Well .... um .... not totally sure, but if it goes up as a van, I can add these as well

If you read the plate as MVH, (Huddersfield CBC June 1957), then the date corresponds with the grille style which was replaced by the mesh pattern à la Popular in October 1957, not 1959.

If you accept that the wing mirror is painted and not plated, this is a van, not an estate car, plus the fact that it's pretty dark inside, no windows.

It's parked outside Melia's so it was possibly their delivery van.

Scroll down for two pictures of Melia's in Haslingden.

Therefore 1957 5 cwt van 300E.

That all sounds good re-analysis to me.
