"Panda Car" would be more fitting than "Police Car" - it also had the MkIII grille |

Wouldn't a 1970 MY police car have been decommissioned by the late-70s, when this film takes place? How long did British Police agencies usually keep their vehicles in use? |

^ probably true. By late 70s, Allegros (launched 1973) had replaced most/(all?) police ADO16s. |
