Rekord? Not Commodore? I always have problem with this. |

A commodore is basically a more luxurious Record. It has suaully more expensive wheels and more chrome... |

With that trim(twice line printed on waistline)was a Rekord Sprint Coupè |

Commodores used 6-cylinder engines, 2500 or 2800cc. Rekords used 4-cylinders, of 1900 or 2000cc (petrol). Suspension and braking were uprated to suit. |

On second thought a similar is listed as Commodore: /vehicle_84484-Opel-Commodore-Coupe-1974.html |

yes, it's confusing. The Commodores used twin-stripe decal in same position too, but not as thick as this example. This car does not have Commodore rear design. /vehicle_58392-Opel-Commodore-1972.html /vehicle_19197-Opel-Commodore-1972.html |

If DatsunZ's collection of brochures/books confirm, the other page should be changed? |

In effect, knew that car 'cause in the same period that was on air in Italy that series,I bought an used issue of the dictionary-sized "TAM-Tutte le Auto del Mondo'75/'76" Italian-printed car annual and into Opel chapter(pg.417)was printed a press-photo of that Rekord Sprint Coupè identical at one shown into series(white, that of book had GG-DA 368 German plate) -- Last edit: 2007-03-05 22:25:42 |

1974+ headrests (for selected versions only). They were absent even on Commodore before. |
