This torpedo is hardly 'convertible' but, well…

Very present, and instrumental, and talk about in the movie, from almost the start to almost the end, she even has a name,

… 'Baby'.

… always goodwilling and helpful, in the sun like in the snow,

but sold just before the end, by her main driver and owner, Franchot Tone:

With km/h speedometer, I don't think so.

But are you sure it's labelled in km/h? Is "100 mph" that unlikely on a speedometer between 1920 (time of the action) and 1938 (time of the filming)?

I have some doubts the speedometer is truly part of this car.

The general shape, the special way of attaching the windscreen with long external A-pillars, and the very peculiar double front fenders are similar to those of the first car in the following link, and the hood with its triple louvres looks like the third car :

Bonjour Didier, do you need help? Not sure, it seems the car is very well identified...

But, who have any idea about why the "Cocotte" is in the middle of the radiator ??? !!!!!
It doesn't make sense!!

Regards, Thierry
