Or Reo or Kaiser Jeep.

Details which could be revealing, for specialists: the frames of the fender lights are round; there is a handle at the front of the bonnet lid.

you can see drill holes on the hood for that handle it's standard

and round light covers are normal on the Am General M35

As there is no page about the preceding models in Truck Planet to compare with, it's a bit weird to say "that's the proof it's an AM General"...
These 2 clues seem to be in fact more likely to be the ones of an M35 A2, which was apparently also made by Kaiser Jeep. See the model proposed in this page and this other here.

then name it kaiser-Jeep and be done with it if it makes you feel better

Kaiser sold Jeep to AMC in 1970 after Kaiser decided to leave the automotive business

Quote In 1971, AMC made the General Products Division of Jeep (producing military trucks, as well as contract and non-commercial vehicles) a wholly owned subsidiary and renamed it AM General Corporation

now tel me you can somehow prove if the truck was made before 1971 or not :D

I can prove it as easily as you can prove it was made after 1971...

then AM General by default

filmed in 2015 means the truck would need to be older than 45 years to be Kaiser-Jeep so rather more likely a newer AM

even if it's older than 71 it very very surelly got some updates by AM General over the time...

You're the one who decides what should be set as default, now? Glad to learn about it.
Accept this truck for what it is: for now it's impossible to identify the make. Someone with more knowledge will certainly be able to do it, one day, we just have to wait for it. And even if no one can identify it, the world won't collapse.
End of that (now) useless discussion, for me.

then by this logic you have 11 pages of M-35 trucks as Am General to be analyzed and somehow find out if they are pre 71 or not

/vehicles_make-AM+General_model-M-35.html

why is it so hard to put it AM General and be done with it ?

military trucks are not like civilian trucks with badges, ornament, model years, different grill or other identification marks etc, they are not commercial vehicles

even if this was somehow a 71 don't you know that this trucks go thru maintanance and usually get upgrades over time ?

heck german WW2 tanks some of them had up to 11 producers , they just picked a make and gone done with it otherwise they all would still be in the unknow section or Sherman tanks of WW2, some variants had 4-5 producers

Who has the bigger production figures? AM General is implied to have had the biggest amount made, especially since they seem to be the most well survived.
