I can't decide if this is a 1939 Lagonda Rapide or a Bentley. The car looks like Lagonda but the logo on the radiator shell looks more like Bentley - Help Probably can't see it in the pictures but it has a small back seat. |

Lagonda, and either a LG 6 or a 12 cylinder: perhaps someone can tell the difference. Standard Drop Head Coupe by Lagonda: so for the time being: Lagonda LG6 Standard Drop Head Coupe by Lagonda 1938/9 |

I'd also agree on a Lagonda |

Interesting plate MG 5996. MG 1-8000 plates were allocated specifically to MG for their use, so was this an MG director's car or similar??? |

Not necessarily. IIRC MG 1-8000 plates, along with UMG and YMG, were allocated to a London (?) garage called Universal Motors, which sold other makes as well as MG. |
