 I start with this one, not because of the quality of the pic (hum…) but mainly because it's the opening frame of the movie, and it sets the action: Bahnhof Friedrichstraße, (Ost-)Berlin.

We are supposed to be in december 1961 —but the movie is shot in 1965.

 Annother Western car in the COMECON, the plates are DDR-size. But Mercedes was quite common there all the 40 years.

This location is often visible in DDR-made films - but only this side of the train station, never the "Palace of Tears" around the building: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tr%C3%A4nenpalast

I'm very glad, that I was able to visit this unique monument of the Cold War when it was still in usage in 1987 :)

@rjluna2: do you see the illuminated running letters underneath the also illuminated advertise "Read Neues Deutschland" (a still existing pain-in-the-ass communist rag https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neues_Deutschland )?
It was a propaganda-advertisement in the Cold War-times. Somewhere I read, when it was dismantled, but I cannot find details now. Here we have a common text "Bonn: secret consultations..."

Fits perfect. Headline on top left: "Convicted mass murderer is Federal Public Prosecuter in the state of the Bonner ultras" I think, he is meant: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolfgang_Fr%C3%A4nkel (his inauguration was on the 23.3.1962)
The other headline says "Strain the brain, vanquish the obstacles and produce more"
Until October 1989 the ND-headlines didn't changed much...
