Location is intersection of Ross Street and Fifth Avenue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The stone building on the right is the old Allegheny County Jail that was completed in 1886. A new jail was completed in 1995; the historic building now serves as a division of the courthouse. In the background is the DoubleTree hotel (may have had a different name in 1988); I stayed there once. |
