eLMeR ◊ 2015-09-02 01:27	1947-55 Chevrolet Advance-Design truck. Also known in Brazil, with this 1947-53 grille and 2-piece windshield, as Boca de Sapo (Toad mouth). It also have the the wheel rims and the bumper of a heavy-duty model: • 1947-48 Loadmaster, whatever the ton-rating is; • 1949-53 1½-ton 4100 / 4400 or 2-ton 6100 / 6400 / 1951+ 6500. There is not enough visible details in this picture to say more about the model and the model year. To be precise, it was not entirely made in Brazil: until the 1958 models (pt), i.e. 'Brasil' 3100 and 'Brasil' 6500, only the cab was Brazilian-made, while the rest of the trucks was just assembled as CKD from the US models. -- Last edit: 2015-09-02 01:38:42
