A small correction: the Crocodile Dundee Esprit was not a 1980. It was a 1986 model. I know because I bought it some years back. I bought it from a dealer in California and had it shipped to the East Coast. It was in terrible condition (despite the assurances to the contrary of the dealer) and it cost me an arm and a leg to get back into shape before I sold for a song with an engine damaged from over-heating. (On the e-bay ad I described it as a good candidate for an engine swap, so unlike the first seller I did not misrepresent). Anyway, I learned my lesson about... well, many things with that purchase. That said, I still pine for my Esprit. I'd love to get one again some day, but probably never will unless I win the lottery, LOL. |
