I think this is for the Cadillac Touring Sedan at the back. |

On third thought...the Touring Sedan was a deVille sub series but there were no deVille badges on it, only Touring Sedan logos on the rear side windows. So TS or deVille TS, I don't know. |

Link to "upload.wikimedia.org" i think its a Touring Sedan, it seems to have sportier look as the link |

but the year is probably over 86, unlike the link |

Its definitely a Touring Sedan, I was just unsure if the official model name had the 'deVille' prefix or not. |

The Touring Editions were introduced in 1986 and subsequently treated as a DeVille sub-series but the DeVille name doesn't appear anywhere on the car. Eventually the Touring Edition became it's own model called the DTS, which is DeVille Touring Sedan. |

So which model and which model year? |

The Standard Catalog of American Cars calls it the 'Cadillac deVille Touring Sedan' so I say we call it that. Since we cannot see if the headlamps are quad or composite I say we go with the first year of production; 1986. I think in terms of search-ability, this would be the best way to label the car. |

We have no "DeVille Touring Sedan" on the site so I guess that all others are listed as DeVille DTS here on the site. However for 1986 we only have Sedan DeVille, is that the same? If not, either it is the first of its kind on the site, or they were listed differently... -- Last edit: 2015-03-11 16:59:27 |

87/88 (the grill doesn't protrude as far on an 86) Sedan DeVille with the Touring Sedan option package. |

touring sedan was an option package, for those years. DeVille DTS came in 2000 as the sport ( if we can call this sport )version of the Deville and lasted until 2005 when the DTS became a model of its own, taking the place of the DeVille in 2006 until the XTS came out for 2013 MY |
