1939-1947 Job-Rated truck. It has the 1941-47 grille without horizontal chrome (or stainless steel?) bar on the lower part, which makes it a 1946-47 W-Something ("Something" depending on the payload. There is also a 2-digit "Something2" for the "chassis code", this one depending on the wheelbase). It is most certainly a 1½-ton WF or a 2-ton WH due to the wheel rims, as the ones of the 3-ton were different. 4 wheelbases (from 126½"/3.21 m to 190"/4.83 m) for the 1½-ton model, 5 (from 136"/3.45 m to 220"/5.59 m) for the 2-ton one, with only one (160"/4.06 m) in common: I wont try to guess which one this truck has ![]() ⇒ 1946 Dodge W-Series Platform? _____ Of course, Job-Rated because: ![]() (Appeared in 1940, the "Job-Rated" slogan has been used by Dodge until 1956) -- Last edit: 2015-02-21 23:14:54 |
