This'd be a sight to see in color; Allied Van Lines has long been known for the bright orange color of their trucks: https://www.flickr.com/photos/flickr-nostalgia-gallery/5417260414/ |

Allied bought a UK company called Pickfords, which had blue trucks, so I was going to say "over here they come in blue" but, no, they're orange now. https://www.flickr.com/photos/mikealaska/8377374019/ P.S. It's more complicated than that, and Pickfords got separated out again: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pickfords But they did use a blue version of the Allied livery: https://www.flickr.com/photos/63975655@N07/7604030032/ -- Last edit: 2015-02-14 21:33:20 |

Or, with such a cab, a 3500 or a 5000? We can't say more than medium-duty (maybe heavy-duty, for the 5000?), in fact, so C-Series should be preferred... This truck has a 1964+ windshield. -- Last edit: 2015-03-18 00:35:45 |
